Q.1:	Who was Hellen Keller?
ہیلن کیلر کون تھی؟
Ans.	Helen Keller was a blind and a deaf woman. Yet she became a great authoress.
ہیلن کیلر ایک نابینا اور بہری عورت تھی۔ پھر بھی وہ ایک عظیم مصنفہ بن گئیں۔
Q.2:	Describe the thought expressed by the authoress in the first paragraph?
پہلے پیراگراف میں مصنفہ کی طرف سےکیے گئے اظہار خیال کی وضاحت کریں؟
Ans.	In the first paragraph she describes that we should live with gentleness, vigour and keenness. We should not follow the motto “Eat, drink and be merry”.
پہلے پیراگراف میں وہ بیان کرتی ہیں کہ ہمیں نرمی ، جوش اور جذبے کے ساتھ رہنا چاہئے۔ ہمیں "کھاؤ ، پیئے اور خوش رہو" کے نعرے پر عمل نہیں کرنا چاہئے۔
Q.3:	What makes you feel that the authoress is sad and depressed?

Ans.	The authoress looks sad and depressed because she is deaf and blind. She wants to see the world.

Ans.	The authoress says that the pageant of seasons is an unending drama. The continuity of change of seasons never ends. It is endless.
مصنفہ کا کہنا ہے کہ موسموں کی  نمائش نہ ختم ہونے والا منظر نامہ  ہے۔ موسموں کی تبدیلی کا تسلسل کبھی ختم نہیں ہوتا ہے۔ اس کا کوئی اختتام نہیں  ہے۔
Q.7:	Why is the arising of the sun so special for the author?
سورج کا طلوع ہونا مصنفہ کے لیے اتنا خاص کیوں ہے؟
Ans.	The sun awakes the sleeping earth and it gives a new hope to the author. That is why the arising of the sun is so special for her.
سورج سوتی ہوئی زمین کو بیدار کرتا ہے اور اس سے مصنفہ کو ایک نئی امید ملتی ہے۔ اسی لئے سورج کا طلوع ہونا اس کے لیے خاص ہے۔
Q.8:	What does the revelation of beauty mean to her?
اس کے لیے خوبصورتی کےآشکار ہونے (ظاہر ہونے)کا کیا مطلب ہے؟
Ans.	Revelation of beauty means to have glimpse of beauty, which is apparent for a person who has sight as well as insight.
خوبصورتی کے آشکار ہونے کا مطلب خوبصورتی کی جھلک پاناہے ، جو اس شخص کے لئے ظاہر ہوتی ہے جو آنکھوں کے ساتھ ساتھ دل کی آنکھیں بھی رکھتا ہو۔

اس کے پاس خواہشوں میں ضائع کرنے کا وقت کیوں نہیں ہے؟
Ans.	She has no time to waste in regret for longing because three days are a short period to see the whole panorama and miracle of life.
اسے خواہشات کے لئے پچھتاوے میں ضائع کرنے کے لئے وقت نہیں ہے کیونکہ زندگی کے پورے نظارےاور معجزے کو دیکھنے کے لئے تین دن ایک مختصر عرصہ ہیں۔
