یہ سطریں "ولیم ایچ ڈیوس" کی تحریر کردہ نظم "بارش" سے لی گئی ہیں۔
context:
In this poem the poet has erected wonderful picture of rain falling. The rhythm created by rain drops is worth hearing. The scene of sun-rising would also be a source of pleasure to everyone.
اس نظم میں شاعر نے بارش برسنے کی حیرت انگیز تصویربنائی ہے۔ بارش کے قطروں سے پیدا کردہ ترنم سننے کے قابل ہے۔ سورج طلوع ہونے کا منظر بھی سب کے لیے خوشی کا باعث ہوگا۔

In these lines the poet describes rhythm of rain drops and a reality of life. The drops of falling rain create a sweet noise. He says the upper leaves quench their thirst first. It means that the rich people get the golden chance first and whatever remains trickle down to the poor. The poet does not look hopeless. The sun will come out after raining. He says there would be equality in the society just like the sunshine which spreads all over the world equally.
ان سطور میں شاعر بارش کے قطروں کا ترنم اور زندگی کی حقیقت بیان کرتا ہے۔ گرتی بارش کے قطرے ایک میٹھا شور پیدا کرتے ہیں۔وہ کہتا ہے اوپروالے پتے اپنی پیاس پہلے بجھاتے ہیں۔ اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ امیر لوگوں کو پہلے سنہری موقع مل جاتا ہے اور جو کچھ باقی بچ جاتا ہے وہ غریبوں کوملتا  ہے۔ شاعر مایوس نظر نہیں آتا۔ بارش کے بعد سورج نکلے گا۔ اس کا کہنا ہے کہ دھوپ کی طرح جو پوری دنیا میں یکساں طور پر پھیلتی ہے،معاشرے میں بھی مساوات ہوگی ۔
