Poem No. 13: a tale of two cities دو شہروں کی کہانی
Q.1:	Why do the people of the two cities look powerless and helpless?
دونوں شہروں کے لوگ بے بس اور لاچار کیوں نظر آتے ہیں؟
Ans.	After the atomic attack the Japanese people hurt physically. They were afraid and could do nothing.
ایٹمی حملے کے بعد جاپانی عوام کو جسمانی طور پر تکلیف پہنچی۔ وہ خوفزدہ تھے اور کچھ نہیں کر سکے۔
Q.2:	Describe the circumstances the victims had to pass through.
بیان کریں کہ متاثرین کو کن حالات سے گزرنا پڑا۔
Ans.	The victim had to face psychological problem. They were mentally upset. They lost hope in life.
متاثرین کو نفسیاتی مسائل کا سامنا کرنا پڑا۔ وہ ذہنی طور پر پریشان تھے۔ انہوں نے زندگی کی امید کھو دی۔
Q.3:	Describe the scene of devastation?
تباہی کا منظر بیان کریں؟
Ans.	The two big cities became graveyard in a moment. Everywhere there were dead bodies. Everything was collapsed.
دونوں بڑے شہر ایک لمحےمیں قبرستان بن گئے۔ ہر طرف لاشیں تھیں۔ سب کچھ تباہ ہوچکا تھا۔
Q.4:	What is the moral lesson of the poem?
نظم کا اخلاقی سبق کیا ہے؟
Ans.	The moral lesson of the poem is that constant struggle bears fruits. Those who do not lose hope in bad situation are rewarded.
نظم کا اخلاقی سبق یہ ہے کہ مسلسل جدوجہد رنگ لاتی ہے۔ جو لوگ خراب صورتحال میں امید سے محروم نہیں ہوتے ہیں وہ انعام پاتے  ہیں۔

Poem No. 14: My neighbour friend breathing his last میرا ہمسایہ اپنے آخری سانس لے رہا ہے
Q.1:	When does a person remember God?
ایک انسان خدا کو کب یاد کرتا ہے؟
Ans.	When a man is in problem he remembers God. He prays God to shower His blessing when he is helpless.
جب انسان پریشانی کا شکار ہوتا ہے تو وہ خدا کو یاد کرتا ہے۔ جب وہ بے بس ہوتا ہے تو وہ خدا سے دعا کرتا ہے کہ وہ اپنی رحمتیں نازل کرے۔
Q.2:	What is the effect of death scene?
موت کے منظر کا کیا اثر ہے؟
Ans.	The death scene arouses the feelings of grief. The poet is also sad and shocked at the death of his spiritual guide. He feels real pain in his heart.
موت کا منظر غم کے جذبات کو ابھارتا دیتا ہے۔ شاعر بھی اپنے روحانی رہنما کی وفات پر افسردہ اور حیرت زدہ ہے۔ وہ اپنے دل میں حقیقی درد محسوس کرتا ہے۔
Q.3:	Why does a person feel helpless on the death of a friend?
دوست کی موت پر شخص بے بس کیوں ہوتا ہے؟
Ans.	Death is the final end of life. When a man sees his friend dying he feels helpless because he can do nothing to prevent his friend from dying.
موت زندگی کا آخری اختتام ہے۔ جب انسان اپنے دوست کو مرتے ہوئے دیکھتا ہے تو وہ بے بس ہوتا ہے کیونکہ وہ اپنے دوست کو مرنے سے بچانے کے لئے کچھ نہیں کرسکتا ۔
Q.4:	Without whose love is Bullah in loss?
کس کی محبت کے بغیر بلھے شاہ نقصان میں ہے؟
Ans.	Bullah is in loss without the love of God and his spiritual guidance.
اللہ کی محبت اور اس کی روحانی رہنمائی کے بغیر بلھے شاہ نقصان میں ہے۔
