Poem No. 3: Loveliest of trees the cherry now درختوں میں سے پیارا اب چیری کا درخت
Q.1:	Why does the poet wish long life in the poem?
شاعر نظم میں لمبی عمر کی خواہش کیوں کرتا ہے؟
Ans.	The poet wants to enjoy the beauty of nature especially the blooming cherry. That’s why he wishes long life.
شاعر فطرت کے خوبصورتی خصوصاً کھلے ہوئے چیری سے لطف اندوز ہونا چاہتا ہے۔ اسی لئے وہ لمبی عمر کی خواہش کرتا ہے۔
Q.2:	Are fifty years a fairly long period to look at thing in bloom?
کیا پچاس سال کِھلی ہوئی چیز کو دیکھنے کے لئے کافی لمبا عرصہ ہے؟
Ans.	No, the poet says it is a short period to look at thing in bloom like cherry.
نہیں ، شاعر کہتاہے کہ چیری کی طرح کھلے ہوئے کسی چیز کو دیکھنا مختصر عرصہ ہے۔
Q.3:	What message does the poet wants to convey?
شاعر کیا پیغام دینا چاہتا ہے؟
Ans.	The poet inspires us to enjoy nature. He says one should not miss any chance of enjoying the beauty of nature.
شاعر ہمیں فطرت سے لطف اندوز ہونے کی ترغیب دیتا ہے۔ اس کا کہنا ہے کہ کسی کو فطرت کی خوبصورتی سے لطف اندوز ہونے کا کوئی موقع ضائع نہیں کرنا چاہئے۔

Q.1:	What kind of feeling does the poet create in the minds of his readers?
شاعر اپنے پڑھنے والوں کے ذہنوں میں کس طرح کا احساس پیدا کرتا ہے؟
Ans.	The poet creates the feelings of courage, determination and fearlessness in the minds of readers.
شاعر پڑھنے والوں کے ذہنوں میں ہمت ، عزم اور بے خوفی کے احساسات پیدا کرتا ہے۔
Q.2:	What do you feel after reading the poem?
نظم پڑھنے کے بعد آپ کیامحسوس کرتے ہے؟
Ans.	After reading the poem we feel excitement and thrill in our body. We become ready to face all sorts of hardships boldly.
نظم پڑھنے کے بعد ہم اپنے جسم میں جوش و خروش محسوس کرتے ہیں۔ ہم ہر طرح کی مشکلات کا مقابلہ بہادری سے  کرنے کے لئے تیار ہوجاتے ہیں۔
Q.3:	What does the title of the poem signify?
نظم کا عنوان کیا ظاہر کرتا ہے؟
Ans.	It has a hidden warning to discourage and prevent the people who want to achieve some goal.
اس میں ان لوگوں کی حوصلہ شکنی اور روک تھام کے لئے ایک چھپی ہوئی تنبیہ ہے جو کچھ مقصد حاصل کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔
Q.4:	What lesson is given in the poem?
نظم میں کیا سبق دیا گیا ہے؟
Ans.	The poet says that the way to glory and success is vague and uncertain but it can be paved with courage.
شاعر کہتا ہے کہ عظمت اور کامیابی کا راستہ غیر واضح اور غیر یقینی ہے لیکن اسے ہمت سے ہموار کیا جاسکتا ہے۔
